The decoration of the hotel was charming and had a cozy atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and socializing. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and handrails in place to help with mobility.

I would have preferred if the children working there were more attentive and quick to assist senior guests.

As backpackers, we absolutely loved the inexpensive, clean, and spacious rooms with amazing showers. The location in Thamel was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff at the guest house were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like family. The rooftop terrace was a great addition, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the city view. It was truly a home away from home experience.

Felt like royalty, no reason to complain.

It was just next door to reliance trekking pvt ltd. The breakfast was wonderful and had plenty of food. We loved our time at the hotel, thanks:)))

I wanted to visit Swayambhunath very much and chose Madhuban Guest House for its location. But I was pleasantly surprised by the free parking and car rental services provided. , the onsite restaurant, Sunny Restaurant, offered delicious meals which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The staff were absolutely amazing - caring, kind. helpful and friendly at all times. Luxman, one of the managers went to great lengths to organise my hiking trip into the mountains and Sono, one of the assistants was kind enough to lend me his backpack for the trip. The other young friendly guys namely Raj and Narayan went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant and memorable experience. Maduban guest house is a one stop shop where you can order delicious meals, organise hiking trips and have your laundry done. The staff try their utmost to attend to all your needs. I will definitely be returning to Madhuban guest house in the future just to meet my amazing friends again. Luxman is filled with so much love, godliness and kindness - a simply amazing man.

Good location, helpfull staff, good value for money

The staff at this guest house were extremely helpful and friendly, always willing to discuss my trip plans and recommend places to visit. They offered various packages for different parts of Nepal, but were not pushy when I declined. The location is convenient, with plenty of great restaurants, shops, and banks within walking distance. I also enjoyed the spacious family room that I booked, which exceeded my expectations.

The only downside was that the property does not serve meals, except for breakfast. However, this was not a big issue as there are many restaurants in the nearby Thamel market area.

I was there with a friend and we booked two ensuited rooms with single beds. However, we each got an ensuited room with twin beds. The reception should have informed us so that we could have saved the extra room and just gotten one room. The hot shower was also not working. The guy who picked us up from the airport was great though.

We had a wonderful stay at Madhuban Guest House. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The hot showers and reliable Wi-Fi were also a great plus. I highly recommend this hotel. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
